Overview

As the name “Yoga in Paradise Retreat” suggests, this 5-day retreat is actually a journey to the Paradise. Based in Tulum, the retreat is all about pampering oneself to a private beach, a lot of yoga and meditation sessions, and amazingly healthy food, to name some.

A retreat for both solo as well as group travelers looking for some rejuvenation, it leaves one feeling refreshed and reenergized.

For one person: $2050

For two people: $1400 for each

Retreat prices are based on the accommodation chosen, with excursions & spa services available for an extra fee.

There is something to be said about taking the time for you - to better you - believes Misti, who lives in San Clemente, CA and has been practicing yoga for over 10 years now. Yoga started merely as a physical practice for Misti and she didn’t understand that there is so much more to this practice than the asanas. Now she can attribute yoga to helping her through grief, trauma, anxiety and all of the other curve balls life can throw at us. She is passionate about sharing this gift that yoga has given her.

Karen Ortiz

Core Subject: Yoga Teacher Training
Karen is a Bay Area native and a former gymnast who found her passion for Yoga while working her corporate job. She took a class with a fantastic teacher and enjoyed being a student so much...little did she know six months later she would be mentored by a 65-year-old Chinese woman and complete her Yoga teacher training in California. Karen enjoys teaching to people of all levels, backgrounds, and walks of life. She enjoys helping others not only see the physic

Alia Mai

Core Subject: Yoga Teacher
Alia Mai is a yoga teacher with a Masters degree in Social Work and Mental Health as well as her Nutrition certification. She utilizes breath, movement, and music to help students enter into a flow state where they drop out of their minds and into the body. The benefits of this practice include better sleep, increased confidence, and comfort in the body, and deepening one’s personal wisdom to name a few. Alia is easily approachable throughout the retreat so the leaving yogi has the most fulfilling experience possible!

Located on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, Tulum has recently gained popularity as a holistic place for finding peace with oneself. The ruins of an ancient Mayan city are what draw major traction to this incredible place. It has now become a hot-spot for Yoga Retreats.

The whole idea of this retreat is to make people aware of their inner-beings. The practices that we follow and guide our clients to follow are aimed at restoring one’s physical and mental balance so that one can de-stress better.

The curriculum includes sessions that help grow out of illusion so one can live in the present moment, that is NOW.
